Main focus

My research focuses on the modeling and theory of the interaction between quantum materials and intense laser fields. I am working on developing novel theoretical tools, such time-dependent density functional theory for strongly correlated systems and noncollinear magnetism, and computational methods for the ab initio description of quantum matter coupled to intense light fields. My work aims at improving our understanding and control of the electron and spin dynamics on ultrafast timescales.
